Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson was an American actress. Elson started her career as an actor when she was a child, and later as a model. She's most popular for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-Fiction series. Andrea was chosen to play Lynn Tanner in the popular series ALF beginning in 1986. After a string of successful years on hit shows after which she quit the entertainment industry to spend time with her children. ALF took place during a stressful time to Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. In 2000, people reported that Elson found it difficult to grow as an actress before the throngs of sitcoms. The Green-Eyed Elson was born in New York City on March 6th 1970. Elson grew up to become an actor who traveled the world because her father had a job as an executive in advertising. By the time she was 10 years old, Andrea had lived at New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. In San Diego Andrea got an agent and won the first part she attempted to audition for. Fusco was in favor of the idea, saying that "ALF is at 285 years old and can drink beer he's old enough. In the meantime, as ALF gained more popularity with youngsters, NBC stated to Fusco you can't have him drinking when the kids are watching it's a bad role model. Even though Fusco thought that ALF was a mature man, he could do the same thing with alcohol ... death. The year 1995 was when he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was successfully treated and his cancer was in remission up until 2019. The disease took his life on 26 June 2019 when he was 75. His funeral was held at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
