Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is the name of a Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's mother, made her acting debut as Flora McGrath. For this role, she won the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic drama The Piano at the young age of eleven. She was the second youngest winner in Oscar history. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada on the 24th July of 1982. She is a Canadian-born actress from New Zealand. Paquin moved to New Zealand from Canada as young girl, and then grew up there. The part of Flora McGrath - the daughter of a Scottish muffled pianist from New Zealand at mid-19th Century was a part she won at an audition for the role. At nine her age, she was a novice or had none experience with acting. Following her move to America, she was a teenager. United States, she became a teenager. Paquin started her acting career as a child with a part as the Jane Eyre main character in the Franco Zeffirelli novel Jane Eyre followed by she played a significant role in Fly Away Home. Paquin played Frankie Addams in a 1997 television movie adaptation of the novel by Carson McCullers The Member of the Wedding as well as a small role as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She portrayed teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) and A Walk on the Moon (2000). She played groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
