Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its first season, became America's Sweetheart. She was not only launched into fame by winning however, she also signed the contract for several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. Since then, she's recorded numerous studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely did not make it to the top. She was among America's top performers. To be successful, she tried out different genres of music and experimented with themes. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal prowess, she received praise from the public as well as numerous awards. Notably, she's received the Grammy Award a record three times. In addition to her work as a musician, she's appeared on television and film. She also wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with various charitable organizations.
